When the time comes to enter the stream we have no doubt or fear that this makes the life we have chosen meaningful.  We see how far the stream leads, into an ocean, into nibbana, through divine realms where only metta, karuna, mudita, and upekkha exist as huge vibrations.  This makes life meaningful.  We know what needs to be done.  Continue on the path, the Noble Eightfold Path.
