Adhi attended the winter retreat, November 20, 2001 to January 20, 2002, at Plum Village, France with Venerable Thich Nhat Hanh and community sponsored in part by the Vietnamese community.  Then Adhi traveled through France for a short time before heading to England to stay and study with some venerable monks like Dr. Rewata Dhamma.  After that marvelous experience Adhi went to Holland to help with and attend retreats with a Buddhist community in The Hague as well as in Amsterdam hosted by Venerable Mettavihari.  Next Adhi ventured to Denmark to visit a Thai monastery and family, returning to Paris just in time to attend the UNESCO Vesak celebration.  Then Adhi traveled back to England for more retreats like the ones at Amaravati and Buddhafield before returning to North America in July 2002 in time for the three month wassa at Buddha Powers Hermitage.  Lots of travel and retreat packed into one rather short trip.  Adhi will post more on this and other trips, photos, and information on the website in development.
