Don’t listen to your leaders, teachers, religious or political figures__so many words that do not encompass your true feelings__ listen to your own heart, the heart filled with pain and sorrow, compassion and love.  Open that heart.  Give from your heart to relieve the pain and suffering__ release your love and compassion into the world for the benefit of the many__ give your heart to the world, the heart that connects us all, the Buddha heart, the Awakened heart of limitless loving-kindness (metta) and compassion (karuna) to relieve the suffering, ease the pain with sympathetic joy (mudita) and peace (upekkha).  Empty your loving-heart into the Grand Ocean in a wave that relieves the suffering of millions.  Do not concern yourself with your money, your emergency savings even, let a generous part flow to those in need.  This is the emergency needing your immediate attention.  Awaken your Buddha nature, your Bodhisatva nature, your Blessed nature, your true nature, your empty nature and let it flow__ a gift to the world leading to your salvation and freedom.  May your gifts return to you a hundredfold.  May all beings have wellness, happiness, and peace.
